Where I Stand

JOB CREATION AND RETENTION

Job growth happens when business is ready to invest and government stays out of the way.  To ensure new jobs land and stay in our community, we need to remove the red tape, continue to invest in infrastructure and education, and showcase the many assets our district has to offer to prospective employers.

EDUCATION

We are fortunate to have both Purdue and Ivy Tech within our community, and we need to find ways to keep college affordable so all kids have the benefit of higher education. Today, our schools face a tough financial reality, and now more than ever, it is critical to have individuals at the State House with the courage and drive to spark new, innovative discussions on how we fund quality education for Hoosier children.  I am confident we can make major strides in this all-important area, and I will continue to work with teachers, administrators, and parents to be their voice in Indianapolis.

GOVERNMENT REFORM

Government at every level is too big and spends too much. We must demand efficient and effective government - one that spends within its means yet delivers necessary services.
