Representative Truitt was recently recognized for his “unwavering assistance on municipal issues during the 2011 legislative session” by the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns (IACT) at their Leadership Conference July 27-28.  

After the conclusion of this year's legislative session, I just want to thank you for all the calls, emails and visits I received from you.  While the session was not without its controversy, a great deal of work was done and significant progress was made - - most notably, passing a balanced budget with no tax increases.  I remain honored to represent District 26 at the State House, and please stay in touch. - Randy

The 2011 legislative session is now in full swing.  Hearings are picking up in both chambers, and work continues on the budget and district maps.  Follow all of the action at www.in.gov/legislative, and continue to send me your feedback.- Randy

We've just received word that the Indiana House Democrats may return today (Monday, March 28).  A 5pm reconvene of the Indiana House has been scheduled, and we hope the entire body will be in attendance.  Stay tuned.
